UPON REQUEST Preparation Workshop for the Lead Auditor Examination

This one-day workshop has been developed to provide participants with an overview of the scope and nature of the Lead Auditor Exam and a review of the knowledge base required by a lead auditor (Section III NCA 4000/NQA-1). This overview is combined with practical experience in researching and developing adequate responses to sample questions that are typical of the questions asked in the written examination.

Who Should Attend?

The course will be useful to those with a strong knowledge of Code Requirements and Code Philosophy who require practical guidance to meet the expectations for successful completion of the ASME Section III Lead Auditor Exam.

Expectations:

This workshop is NOT an explanation of Code Requirements and Code Philosophy. It is expected that all participants have obtained this knowledge base through other training. The workshop is designed to assist participants preparing to write the Lead Auditor Exam by reviewing typical exam questions and by providing examples on the preparation of appropriate answers. It will provide participants with this opportunity in a workshop environment.

    Mr. Richard W. Barnes is the Principle Engineer at ANRIC Enterprises Inc. and has been actively involved for over 30 years in the development of the ASME and CSA Codes and Standards associated with Pressure Boundary for both nuclear and non-nuclear power plants. Mr. Barnes leads the team at ANRIC Enterprises Inc that offers technical assistance for companies registering Pressure Boundary products, and provides expert consultation on the application of the various pressure boundary codes. The ANRIC team also develops and delivers training on both the CSA and ASME Codes and Standards for delivery on-site at the ANRIC Learning Centre and off-site at the clients’ premises. CANCELLATION POLICY:
Cancellation must be received in writing 7 days prior to course start date. You may send a substitute. Notification of a substitute must be received at least 72 hours prior to the commencement of the course to allow time for delivery of course material. If a substitute is not available, the fee for the course may be used towards another ANRIC course at a later date.

ANRIC Enterprises Inc. reserves the right to cancel any course and/or change lecturers. Courses that fail to register a “MINIMUM” of 6 participants will be cancelled. Important Course Information:

  • The maximum number of people per course is 16 people. This limitation is set because the courses are run with Workshops using Breakout Rooms to provide for maximum interaction and learning experience. This provides an excellent learning opportunity.
  • All rights, title and content of the course manuals and all other instructional material shall remain the property of ANRIC Enterprises Inc.
  • The manuals will be delivered to course participants by courier (a mailing address will be required to participate in this course).
  • This course requires participants to have video and audio capability.
  • There will be an examination at the end of each course. ANRIC Enterprises Inc. will only provide certificates of successful completion for participants that achieve an examination result of 80% or higher. Video access is required for the checkout.
